Happy with the item. It serves the purpose of why I wanted it. My man is 6’4” and still needed me to hold stuff while he used the Allan wrench they provided. If you have a power drill you can use that with the right attachment but the material is thin particle type board not solid wood so it’s just scary to use power tools and slip or something. You will split the shelf or the wood will be exposed under the thin finish layer on top. Overall a beautiful shelf. But I’m using it for display not a functional book shelf. I would be a little nervous to add a ton of weight to it. I use it for my live shows selling luxury items so it is perfect for my needs. I’m not too handy but I usually can put stuff together myself but I needed to call in the hubby for this one. The schematics look overwhelming if you don’t know what you’re looking at. I also think it had some extra screws that were not for the item. We couldn’t figure out where they went on the shelf and I rather have extra pieces than missing ones lol. 😝 nice product for the cost for sure!

I wanted to fill an empty wall space, and this shelf was the perfect addition. It has elevated the area and looks very modern. Installation was quick and straightforward—just follow the provided instructions. The wood is sturdy, and the gold color is very subtle. The best feature is the closed cabinet, which allows me to store items I prefer to keep hidden. Overall, it’s a fantastic buy, and I’m very pleased with the quality. I even added a few lights to enhance its elegance!

Put this together by myself. Looks amazing in the living room and holds so much. Has straps you can pin to the wall to keep it from falling over

This looks exactly like the picture it was easy to put together except the cabinet mounting the screws did not match up exact but overall I’m happy it’s bigger than I expected
